I miss writing every day. The last couple of weeks, I've only written blogs once every weekend, and I know I'm going to hate myself for it, but I'm going to go back to writing every day (or as many days as I can). This week has been an introspective one and also a busy one. I have a few cool announcements to make soon, but I don't want to make them until everything is set in stone. I took this picture when I walked out of teaching a class this week. It's been dark and nice outside, and the longer I live here in Omaha, the more I try to see the pretty parts of it. In my WIP, I've been trying to find those pretty parts. Today I locked myself indoors with a huge pop and I put on some Adele (ugh, I know) and I went to work. Sometimes when we are over something, we need to pick it apart and we need to find the things that made us love it in the first place. I think that writers need to do this multiple times during a long project. It's the only way we can keep as excited about the project as our potential readers. Back to writing. |

What is this?Dawson is a writer. This is her blog. In it, you shall read about reading. And writing. And cheeseburgers. Sometimes there are tangents. Huzzah. Categories
