Some more wedding photos came rolling in today. This is of my husband walking down the aisle during our rehearsal. It was beautiful. Today was about picking up where we left off a long time ago. As you may have gathered if you've followed this blog, we have a lot of adventures. We've been in and out of town for a long time, and we're gone again this weekend to go to KC. So it's been hard to sit down and focus when I've become our full-time travel agent. This means that today, now that the adventures are over for now, I read. I actually read. I read half of Matilda and started on Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl. I actually got to sit down and enjoy a book! I even read a couple pages of Les Mis without feeling rushed! It's a great thing, to read. To just sit in your bed on a Tuesday, curled up with a good book, and have nothing else to do. I actually had time to look up words I didn't know! There was a great quote I read today from Bradbury, which said that put on the prescription of reading and writing every day, one could have a successful career. I love looking to Bradbury when I get lost. He was such a hard worker and always shot straight. So tomorrow I have a writing date set up at Paradise, and I am very much looking forward to it. Kate and I don't have to talk about wedding stuff anymore. Just writing. Ah, sweet bliss. |
